FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The 5th Annual Indigenous Peoples’ Day celebration was held in front of the Fresno City Hall Plaza on Monday.

The city council recognized the Fresno American Indian Health Project for its contributions to Indigenous health and wellness in the Central Valley.

FAIHP has long provided culturally responsive healthcare, mental health services, and community programs that uplift Native families and strengthen tribal identity.

The celebration included drum performances by Sacred Circle, a color guard presentation by Indigenous Warrior Flag Group, and a blessing by Delaine Bill.
