A third person, Smiley Martin, was also arrested, but he died while in custody in 2024.Monday’s court proceedings involved the judge presiding over the trial approving the entirety of an interview to be played to jurors. The three victims are 21-year-old Johntaya “JoJo” Alexander, 57-year-old Melinda Davis and 21-year-old Yamile Martinez-Andrade.
