BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Central Valley Business Federation’s political action committee has announced endorsements for a slew of candidates running for office seats for this upcoming election — including several Kern County candidates.

The Federation — which is also known as the BizFed PAC — backed David Couch, who is running for Assembly District 32; Nathan Magsig, running for State Senate District 12; Chris Parlier for Kern County Supervisor, District 2; and Jeff Flores, who is running for Kern County Supervisor, District 3.

The Federation also endorsed several candidates running for political seats in Fresno, and state senate hopefuls in Fresno County and Merced County.

The group said the candidates they endorsed have “who have demonstrated a commitment to supporting economic growth, job creation, infrastructure investment, public safety, and policies that strengthen the region’s business climate.”

“The endorsements reflect the PAC’s ongoing mission to support leaders who understand the unique needs of the Central Valley and are committed to creating an environment where businesses, workers, and communities can thrive,” the Federation said in a press release on Monday. “The Central Valley Business Federation Political Action Committee will continue engaging voters and supporting candidates committed to keeping the Central Valley competitive, business-friendly, and economically strong.”
