BURGLARY: 10:46 a.m. on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A lockbox was pried open and some contents were stolen sometime between May 1 and May 4. Someone rummaged through the file cabinet, but cash was still inside and nothing was taken.

 May 5

PETTY THEFT: 8:52 a.m. at Safeway on Pollard Road. Two suspects, possibly juveniles, stole two BuzzBallz bottles. The suspects were cited and released.

May 6

PETTY THEFT: 4:59 p.m. at Trader Joes on Los Gatos Boulevard. Someone stole a woman’s phone while she was shopping.

PETTY THEFT: 5:27 p.m. at Pob on Los Gatos Boulevard. A woman said her daughter’s friend stole her credit card from her and proceeded to use it at multiple locations. The suspect admitted to taking the card and told the woman, “I only charged $400.” The mother said she had been trying to resolve the issue without getting police involved, but the juvenile was not cooperating.

May 9

PETTY THEFT: 7:52 p.m. at Safeway on North Santa Cruz Avenue. A woman stole a shopping card full of goods, which included dairy and deli products. She left in a white Mustang Mach-E and was last seen driving westbound on Andrews Street toward North Santa Cruz Avenue.

May 10

VEHICLE ACCIDENT: 3:54 p.m. on Caldwell Avenue. Two biking juveniles were hit by a car, resulting in serious injury.
