CHICO, Calif. – Search crews responded to reports of a vehicle going into the Sacramento River west of Chico. The incident happened off River Road at around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The driver was taken into Chico by a civilian. Several agencies arrived on scene with a drone in the air and 3 boats on the water searching for the submerged vehicle.
Authorities have not confirmed if the vehicle has been found. They also have not confirmed if only one person was involved. Action News Now will keep you updated as we learn more.
