LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Brayden McNabb will get a player safety hearing Wednesday for his penalty in Tuesday’s Game 5 against Anaheim.

With 11 minutes to go in the first period, the referees assessed a five-minute major and game misconduct against McNabb, ejecting him for interference against the Ducks’ Ryan Poehling.

McNabb hit Poehling into the boards as Poehling was looking to his left and not playing the puck. Poehling went down onto the ice and needed assistance to leave the rink for Anaheim’s locker room.

Vegas ultimately won the game in overtime, 3-2.

Wednesday’s hearing will determine if McNabb is suspended for Game 6, which will be played Thursday in Anaheim.
