After more than three decades at the helm, Kelly King is stepping down as head football coach at Milpitas High School in California.
The 62-year old King led the program four Central Coast Section titles, two regional championships, and two CIF state titles. Coach Kelly reitres with 243 lifetime victories.
Longtime assistant coach Rey Elzey, who played for King and graduated from Milpitas in 1992, will take over as the new head coach.
