The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said three minors in a stolen vehicle were detained after a chase that ended in Roseville on Wednesday.The sheriff’s office said its gang units first observed a grey Kia near Elkhorn Boulevard and Diablo Drive without license plates. The vehicle matched the description of one linked to people brandishing a weapon in Sacramento. Deputies tried to make a traffic stop but the vehicle fled. The chase continued on eastbound Interstate 80 and after the suspects exited onto Douglas Road, the sheriff’s office said.During the approximately eight-minute-long chase in Roseville, deputies deployed a tire-deflation device and the car began hitting other vehicles on the road, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies then performed a PIT maneuver to end the pursuit. ROSEVILLE, Calif. —

The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said three minors in a stolen vehicle were detained after a chase that ended in Roseville on Wednesday.

The sheriff’s office said its gang units first observed a grey Kia near Elkhorn Boulevard and Diablo Drive without license plates. The vehicle matched the description of one linked to people brandishing a weapon in Sacramento.

Deputies tried to make a traffic stop but the vehicle fled. The chase continued on eastbound Interstate 80 and after the suspects exited onto Douglas Road, the sheriff’s office said.

During the approximately eight-minute-long chase in Roseville, deputies deployed a tire-deflation device and the car began hitting other vehicles on the road, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies then performed a PIT maneuver to end the pursuit.

Roseville police said its officers assisted with the chase for a short period of time.
