BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said the Lake Isabella substation is open to the public on limited hours because of clerical staffing availability, but patrol staffing is not affected.

Residents are asked to call ahead to make sure staff are on site.
