The motorcyclist involved in a crash near Northgate Boulevard has died, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Officers responded to the crash around 10:30 a.m. Monday in the area of Northgate and Bridgeford Drive.

The Sacramento County Coroner identified the motorcyclist as Trevon Hayes, a 31-year-old man from Sacramento.

Hayes was taken to the hospital following the crash, where he later died, police said.

Police said no arrests have been made, but an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
