Woman arrested in relation to shooting in south Sacramento, police say

A woman was arrested following a shooting in south Sacramento, according to police. The Sacramento Police Department said officers responded to reports of a shooting before 6:45 p.m. near Stockton Boulevard and Fruitridge Road. When officers arrived, they found a victim with at least one gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital. The victim’s injuries are non-life-threatening, police said. Circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown. The Sacramento Police Department said officers responded to reports of a shooting before 6:45 p.m. near Stockton Boulevard and Fruitridge Road.
