Person suffers facial burns in Fresno two-story apartment fire, officials say
A person sustained facial burns after a fire at an apartment in Fresno.
The fire was reported at 4:17 p.m. at 5798 E. Kings Canyon Road.
Fresno Fire spokesperson Josh Sellers said crews contained the fire to a bedroom as smoke showed from the second floor of the two-story apartment.
One victim was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and facial burns. Their status is unknown.
Two people were displaced, and 28 firefighters responded to the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
