(FOX40.COM) — A woman was arrested after shooting a man in South Sacramento on Thursday evening, police said.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 5400 block of Stockton Boulevard near Fruitridge Pocket just before 6:45 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department said.
A woman was arrested after shooting a man in South Sacramento on Thursday evening, police said.
Officers located the man with at least one gunshot wound. The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are unclear.
