Quick response from homeowners in Mid-Wilshire scared off a pair of suspicious people who were captured on camera lurking.
Officers responded to a home near the intersection of Mullen Avenue and West 9th Street just after midnight Saturday for a call of a possible burglary in progress, the Los Angeles Police Department said. Homeowners reported seeing people dressed in masks and gloves prowling between homes.
Surveillance footage from one of the homes captured two people in dark-colored and hooded sweatshirts skulking on the side of a home.
Upon getting the call, officers set up a perimeter in the area and searched for those individuals, but they were already gone. LAPD said there was no evidence of forced entry into any homes.
