High winds fueled a fast-moving fire in the Antelope Valley that triggered evacuation warnings on Saturday.
The “Corral Fire” broke out near 110th Street West and West Avenue East in Lancaster at around noon. The Los Angeles County Fire Department said it grew to 130 acres before the forward progress was stopped around 2 p.m.

Authorities issued a shelter-in-place order and evacuation warnings in nearby areas.
Road closures were in effect on West Avenue K at Sierra Vista Drive and Yew Street.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
