SAN ANTONIO – A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead inside an apartment following an apparent domestic violence incident.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers responded to an assault call and arrived to find the woman unresponsive in a bedroom. She was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews.
The woman had visible injuries to her neck and had signs indicating she may have vomited before her death.
Marc Balditt, 24, told officers the two had been arguing about their child when the confrontation became physical. Baldwitt allegedly admitted to placing the woman in a chokehold until she lost consciousness.
