Two teenagers are dead and three more were seriously injured after a car crash in Sloughhouse. Roads in the area were closed for several hours, according to the California Highway Patrol. Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department crews responded to the solo vehicle crash just after midnight on Sunday on Scott Road. The remote road runs west of Deer Creek Hills Nature Preserve. The vehicle struck a tree and caught fire, according to Metro Fire. Metro Fire said three teenagers were taken to local trauma centers with critical injuries.
