Spencer Pratt says that he’s done living in Los Angeles if he doesn’t win the upcoming mayoral election.
The Hills alum, 42, appeared on a clip shared to The Adam Carolla Show‘s X account on Saturday, May 16, as he continues to campaign against incumbent Karen Bass.
“I’m going to win the lawsuit against [governor] Gavin Newsom‘s state park, and with that money — if I’m the mayor of Los Angeles — I will rebuild,” Pratt said, likely referring to the suit filed by him, wife Heidi Montag and other Pacific Palisades property owners against the city of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power over damage to their properties during the 2025 wildfires (as reported last year by the Los Angeles Times).
“If Karen Bass gets reelected or Nithya Raman gets elected, I will be done with trying to live in L.A., and I’ll take that money from the Newsom state park and the LADWP, and I’ll go find somewhere that my kids will not have to see naked zombies,” Pratt proclaimed, likely referring to the unhoused population in the city.
“I can have the last American Dream somewhere,” he said. “I will not rebuild if these people are in charge.”

Pratt announced that he is running for mayor of Los Angeles while commemorating the one-year anniversary of the devastating Palisades Fire, which destroyed his home.
Last month, the political candidate revealed an advertisement promoting his campaign, simply writing on X: “They not like us.”
“This is where Mayor Bass lives. You notice something?” Pratt began in the video ad, pointing to a house allegedly owned by the current California mayor, 72.
“This is where I live,” Pratt said, as he stood outside of a mobile home in an area that appears to have been ravaged in the California wildfires.
“They let my home burn down,” he continued. “I know what the consequences of failed leadership are. That’s why I’m running for mayor — for my sons and the rest of us Angelenos that want to stop these corrupt politicians from destroying our city.”
It’s since been reported that Pratt has been living in the lavish Hotel Bel Air, allegedly because of safety concerns. However, he shot those claims down, saying that he considers the trailer his “temporary” home with Montag.
“I’m done waiting for someone to take real action,” Pratt — who has been outspoken in his criticism of California governor Newsom and Los Angeles mayor Bass — explained during his impassioned speech at the “They Let Us Burn!” protest.
The election will be held on June 2.
