Firefighters battle Isaac Fire in Lancaster – NBC Los Angeles

Firefighters battled a brush fire reported Monday afternoon in Lancaster.

The fire, dubbed the Isaac Fire, was reported shortly after 1:20 p.m. between 70th Street and West Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

By 2 p.m., the fire had burned 100 acres.

Two other fires were also reported in Southern California. The Sandy Fire has burned more than 700 acres and is threatening a residential area, while the Burro Fire has burned 35 acres in the Angeles National Forest.
