Two Bay Area district attorneys are raising concerns about a recent California Supreme Court ruling regarding cash bail.
San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said the decision could threaten public safety in the city, noting the Public Defender’s Office has already filed motions calling for repeat drug offenders and robbery suspects to be released without a cash bond because of the ruling.
