Police are investigating the death of a young child who was allegedly left in a car in Valley Village, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers were called to a neighborhood near the intersection of Magnolia Boulevard and McCormick Street at about 3:30 p.m. for a medical emergency, the Los Angeles City Fire Department said. There, a 4-year-old was left in a vehicle, according to the initial call.
Police did not release the name of the child. It’s unclear if any charges will be pressed in the case.
The investigation is ongoing.
