CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — A driver was arrested after leading police on a chase on Tuesday.
Police officers attempted to pull a car over in the area of Bullard and Willow around 1:30 p.m.
Instead, that driver sped off, and a pursuit began but was ended quickly for the concern of the public.
Police say a drone and a helicopter helped officers on the ground follow from a safe distance.
A passenger got out of the car near Chestnut and Barstow, and he was detained by police.
The driver tried to hide in a garage but was found and taken into custody.
Officers say that they are checking the car for possible stolen items.
