BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Travelers can expect a lot of traffic on the road this weekend as AAA is forecasting record breaking travel for Memorial Day.
AAA says they are expecting 39.1 million people to travel by car and 3.66 million to travel by air.
Spokesperson Kandace Redd joined Eyewitness News to share more details.
AAA says the worst times to travel will be between noon and 9 p.m. on Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The say the best time to leave will be after 9 p.m. and before 11 a.m.
