The California Highway Patrol has identified the pickup truck driver accused of killing two e-motorcycle riders in Sacramento County.
The crash was reported Monday night on Eagles Nest Road near Woodring Drive. Investigators said a Nissan pickup truck was speeding and hit two 20-year-old men, who were stopped on the road on e-motorcycles.
The pickup truck then hit a Toyota Corolla before crashing into a ditch.

Both riders died at the scene, according to CHP. Four people were inside the pickup truck. Two of them were injured and taken to the hospital, including one with moderate injuries and another with major injuries.
CHP said the driver, identified as 24-year-old Jihvon Thompson, ran away from the scene, but was later arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on felony DUI, hit-and-run, and gross vehicular manslaughter charges.
