The guide updated Wednesday recognizes 21 California restaurants that stand out for quality, technique and consistency. The LA newcomers include omakase sushi counters, tasting-menu restaurants, neighborhood taquerias, Korean American cuisine and wood-fired South American cooking.
Here are the LA-area restaurants.
