As America nears its 250th birthday, here’s a road trip idea from Twin States News.
Downtown Long Beach is gearing up for a full day of patriotic festivities as it hosts the 2026 4th of July Jubilee on Saturday, June 27.
The daylong, family-friendly event will kick off at 9 a.m. with an open-air market featuring a wide array of local vendors. The shopping portion of the day will run until 6 p.m., paving the way for the annual Independence Day parade to roll through the downtown streets.
Following the parade, the evening celebrations will shift into high gear. A spectacular fireworks show is scheduled to light up the night sky at 8:45 p.m.
The festivities will then culminate in a downtown block party from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m., organizers said.
