BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Students in Kern County who are 18 years old or younger can once again look forward to free breakfast and lunch meals at Kern High School District schools in June.
The schools listed below will be open for everyone between the ages of 2 and 18, according to KHSD. Students don’t need to be enrolled in KHSD schools to receive the meals.
Breakfast will be served between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., and lunch will be from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., KHSD said. The free meal service is set to run from June 2 through June 26.

BHS: 1241 G St., Bakersfield
Centennial: 8601 Hageman Road, Bakersfield
Del Oro: 1750 E. Panama Lane, Bakersfield
East Bakersfield: 2200 Quincy St., Bakersfield
Foothill: 501 Park Drive, Bakersfield
Golden Valley: 801 Hosking Ave., Bakersfield
Highland: 2900 Royal Scots Way, Bakersfield
Independence: 8001 Old River Road, Bakersfield
Kern Valley: 3340 Erskine Creek Road, Lake Isabella
Liberty: 925 Jewetta Ave., Bakersfield
Mira Monte: 1800 S. Fairfax Road, Bakersfield
North: 300 Galaxy Ave., Bakersfield
Ridgeview: 8501 Stine Road, Bakersfield
Shafter: 526 Mannel Ave., Shafter
South: 1101 Planz Road, Bakersfield
Stockdale: 2800 Buena Vista Road, Bakersfield
West: 1200 New Stine Road, Bakersfield
ABLE: 501 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Bakersfield
Nueva: 8600 Palm Ave., Lamont
Tierra Del Sol: 3700 East Belle Terrace, Bakersfield
Vista West: 7115 Rosedale Highway, Bakersfield
KHSD is participating in the federally funded Seamless Summer Option of the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, which provides the free meals for students.
