Two young men were arrested in connection with the death of a 60-year-old man in Anaheim earlier this month, police announced.

The May 7 incident occurred just before midnight at the Stadium Lofts Condominiums at 1801 E. Katella Avenue, the Orange County Register reported.

Responding officers found the victim, now identified as Michael Bohn, unresponsive in the street and attempted life-saving measures until paramedics arrived. The 60-year-old was declared dead at the scene.

Anaheim Police Sgt. Jared Dewald told the Register that the caller reported a “fight between three people” and that the suspects appeared to leave the area in a red pickup truck.

Officers spotted the truck leaving the scene as they were arriving and were able to conduct a traffic stop. The suspects, identified only as two men, ages 18 and 19, were taken into custody.

Investigators said a firearm was recovered at the scene. So far, it remains unclear who the gun belonged to, whether Bohn was fatally shot, or if he was beaten to death.

The Orange County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the victim’s cause of death.

Police have yet to say what led to the deadly altercation between the victim, who lived in the Stadium Lofts complex, and the two men, who do not.

Sgt. Dewald told the Register that the violence appears to be an isolated incident that may have begun as some sort of disturbance or disagreement.

No additional details have been released.
