The SF Conservatory of Flowers is known for its rare and tropical plant collection, including a gallery filled with pools of aquatic plants. You can also expect to explore plants from the highland and lowland tropics, along with a gallery filled with potted plants. Unfortunately, the West Gallery is closed until November 14 for renovations, but you can still expect to see plenty of beautiful plants on your visit

The Conservatory is located in Golden Gate Park, just a short walk from Eastern entrance of the park. On a sunny day you can see people enjoying picnics on the manicured lawns, and running JFK Promenade which is closed to cars. You can also work further into the park for a few minutes and find the de Young Museum and the California Academy of Science, along with the Bandshell which frequently hosts free concerts.
