90s heat expected through the holiday weekend, with afternoon breezes in some areas

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — TEMPERATURES WARM-TO-HOT INTO THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND

The 90s are back in style and look to be the rule right into the Holiday weekend.

Always remember to “LOOK BEFORE YOU LOCK” and never, ever, leave children (or pets) in your vehicle, even with the windows rolled down or the engine on but unattended by a responsible adult.

Some of you will also be noticing the afternoon breezes pickup up again, especially in our traditionally-breezy communities including the Kern River Valley, Tehachapi region and on into the desert. Of course, wildfire hazard is something everyone will need to keep a close eye on, as is the case this time of year.

Have a wonderful Holiday weekend!
