Two found dead in a car in San Jose State University parking garage

A man and a woman were found dead inside a parked car at a San Jose State University garage on Saturday afternoon, according to university police.

Officers responded just after 2 p.m. to reports of two unresponsive people inside a vehicle in the West Garage at 350 S. Fourth St., said SJSU Police Captain Jermaine Thomas.

Firefighters were called to administer CPR, but both were pronounced dead at 2:20 p.m., Thomas said.

The two people were not affiliated with the university, Thomas said. The investigation remains ongoing, but police are not currently looking for any suspects, he added. No additional details were available.
