Each year, Gathering in the Garden raises funds to assist with programming at the Oakland Museum of California (OMCA). This spring, guests enjoyed food and drinks, dancing, live entertainment, and more in OMCA’s seven-acre garden. Oakland comedian W. Kamau Bell also coordinated a conversation featuring locally born filmmaker Adrian L. Burrell and writer Leila Mottley during the evening.
