ANAHEIM, Calif. (KTRE) – Former Central Heights Blue Devil Grayson Rodriguez picked up his first win in a Los Angeles Angels uniform on Friday night in the Angels’ 9-6 victory over the Texas Rangers.
It was Rodriguez’s second start after he was sidelined at the start of the season with right shoulder inflammation.
Rodriguez pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing four runs on seven hits while striking out five and walking two.
The Angels are 20-34 this season. Rodriguez is scheduled to start Thursday in Detroit against the Tigers.
