ANAHEIM, CA — Two men were found dead in an Orange County hotel room, and police were investigating the deaths as a double-suicide.

Anaheim Police Department officers responded to the Hotel Pepper Tree at 2375 W. Lincoln Ave. north of South Gilbert Avenue just before 10 p.m. Wednesday, after one of the victim’s parents requested a welfare check.

“As of right now, it appears to be a double suicide,” Anaheim Police Department Matt Sutter told City News Service.

Sutter added “there doesn’t appear to be any threat to the community.”

There were few details regarding the double suicide, which remains under investigation.
