Sacramento sheriff’s deputies respond to Mercy San Juan Medical Center, determine no safety threat

Deputies with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office were seen responding to the Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael on Friday. Details on the incident have not been confirmed. The sheriff’s office later said it determined there was a false alarm. The building was cleared and is being reopened. Coyle Avenue Elementary School nearby was put on lockdown, which was later downgraded to a shelter-in-place. School activities have since resumed.
