BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — City fire crews responded to a small vegetation fire on Friday afternoon near Yokuts Park and quickly extinguished the flames.
At around 2 p.m., an Eyewitness News crew said they saw fire personnel extinguishing a small brush fire on a strip of grass located between the bike path and the Kern River, just east of the park.
The fire was quickly extinguished. No major damage was seen and no one appeared injured.
