LONG BEACH, Miss. (WLOX) — A Mardi Gras-style Jeep parade rolled through downtown Long Beach on Saturday evening as part of Jeepin the Coast 2026.

More than 2,500 Jeeps are registered for the event, which started Wednesday and ends Sunday.
Jeeps of all shapes and colors traveled through Jeff Davis Avenue. Participants threw beads and ducks to spectators.
“This is the Mardi Gras for Jeeps,” said Greg Creager, managing partner at Gulfport Champion Jeep. “We’re going to be throwing beads, throwing ducks. There’s me and hundreds of my closest friends right back here, all in Jeeps.”

Bobby Reno, who represents the Transformer Car Club of Mississippi, wore a bumblebee costume matching his Jeep.
“It’s incredible. There’s no other high like it,” Reno said. “When the kids are coming up and they actually see me, they just go crazy.”

A concert in the street followed the parade, ending the fourth night of Jeepin the Coast 2026.
Sunday’s lineup includes a church service at Long Beach Town Green at 9:30 a.m., followed by scavenger hunt awards.
