LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police are investigating a shooting that left a man hurt early Sunday morning.
LMPD First Division officers were called around 3:15 a.m. to the 1900 block of W. Madison Street. Police said they found an adult male who had been shot. He was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators later determined the shooting happened in the 1800 block of Greenwood Avenue, where the victim was trying to get into his vehicle when he was shot. Police said the suspect ran off in an unknown direction, and no suspects are known at this time.
