3 people, 1 dog displaced in San Jose house garage fire; another dog killed
(KRON) — The San Jose Fire Department said three people were displaced and one dog was found dead after a garage fire that struck a single-story residence Saturday evening.
SJFD said crews responded to the fire, which broke out at 7:28 p.m. in the 1400 block of Mount Whitney Drive. The fire was brought under control just before 8:20 p.m.
Fire officials said the American Red Cross was contacted to assist with one adult, two children and one dog.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
