MANCHESTER – Two people needed to be extricated from their vehicle after it rolled over onto its side in a Saturday afternoon crash, a Manchester official said.
Both victims sustained minor injuries in the crash and refused transportation to the hospital, according to Manchester fire Battalion Chief Craig Webb.
Webb said firefighters responded to the crash at the Oakland Street and Sheldon Road intersection around 3:49 p.m. Webb said crews needed to stabilize the vehicle before getting both parties out. He said the rescue occurred within five minutes of firefighters’ arrival.

The driver of the other involved vehicle was uninjured, Webb said.
Webb said within 40 minutes the intersection was reopened once the rescue occurred and the vehicles were cleared.
