LA Metro is offering free rides on Tuesday for the June primary election.
The transit agency said rides on its buses, rails, bicycles and Metro Micro will be free of charge in order to help voters cast their ballots. No TAP or payment cards will be required to open the faregate.
In an effort to further help voters, Metro and the LA County Registrar-Recorder teamed up to implement ballot drop boxes at 10 Metro stations.
Southern Californians have a slew of primary races to consider ahead of the November Midterm Election. Among the most-discussed races are the Los Angeles mayoral race and the Golden State’s gubernatorial race.
