A woman was arrested at the Tarzana home of singer Chris Brown in what appears to be the latest case of trespassing at the music artist’s west San Fernando Valley residence, the LAPD told NBC4 Investigates.
Police responded to the home Tuesday just before 6 p.m. after a report of a woman hopping over the gate to the residence. The initial report was a burglary, but police said the woman never entered the house.
The 34-year-old suspect, Ebonique Rembert, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing and is currently in jail, police said. The case will be submitted to prosecutors for consideration of charges.
Brown was out of town at the time.
It was not immediately clear whether Rembert has an attorney.
The trespassing investigation comes after a 44-year-old man was arrested several times for the same crime at Brown’s home. That suspect, who was charged with two counts of trespassing and one count of possession of methamphetamine, was arrested three times within 24 hours.
