Santa Clara County firefighters tackled a fire at a church in Campbell on Wednesday. The fire also caused a street closure in the area.
Just before 5 p.m., Santa Clara County Fire said they received a report of smoke from a building on the 400 block of Llewellyn Avenue in Campbell. Upon arrival, crews saw the smoke coming from a church, according to officials.
Authorities said the fire was knocked down just before 5:40 p.m., but they warned there were still many units on scene, and Llewellyn Avenue was closed between West Hamilton and Kings Court.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
