(KRON) — The California Highway Patrol Santa Clara County area office has issued a Silver Alert for an at-risk 77-year-old man who was last seen in San Jose Saturday afternoon.

Ronald Gorshe was reported missing after being seen at 9:46 a.m. in the area of Potrero and Park Wilshire drives. Gorshe is believed to be traveling on foot.
Gorshe is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 205 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was reportedly wearing a gray sweater with blue letters, white t-shirt and brown pants.

CHP activated the alert on behalf of the San Jose Police Department.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call 911.
