FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Fire crews are working to contain a large warehouse fire in Southeast Fresno, authorities say.
The fire started around 3:06 p.m. on Thursday near “L” and Los Angeles streets, just north of Hamilton Avenue.
Large plumes of black smoke can be seen throughout many areas of Fresno.
Fire crews say the entire warehouse was engulfed in flames and is a complete loss. Pressurized containers and power lines did explode.
The warehouse across from the fire was also evacuated.
More than 45 firefighters are actively trying to contain the flames.
The cause of the fire is under investigation
