The southern hip hop legend is known for hits like “Back That *** Up” and “Slow Motion” and is one of the original members of the group “Hot Boyz” with Lil Wayne, B.G. and Turk. Bonnie Raitt with Maia SharpSinger-songwritters Bonnie Raitt and Maia Sharp are on tour together and they’ll be performing at Sacramento’s Channel 24 venue on Friday night. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Paint the GroveA mural festival highlighting the work of young artists is taking over the walls of Elk Grove’s Main Street area this week. Filipino FiestaSacramento’s Filipino Fiesta is back and bigger than ever. The Filipino Fiesta started in 1977 and is attended by roughly 8,000 people each year. Hangtown Motocross ClassicElite racers will be gathered in Rancho Cordova for the 57th annual Hangtown Motocross Classic this weekend. Placer County Rocklin BrewfestThe Rotary Club of South Placer is kicking off summer on Saturday with its annual Rocklin Brewfest, which funds its charitable projects.The event boasts a lineup of 45 craft brewers, 25 home brewers, and expects 3,000 attendees. Tahoe City Food and Wine ClassicIf a tasty bite of food followed up by a sip of wine with a view of the lake sounds good to you, this event has you covered. San Joaquin CountyStockton UNITY FEST A free community event meant to uplift the youth in Stockton will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be musical performances, free haircuts, face painting, pap warner football signups and more.
