At least one person was taken into custody after a vehicle chase starting in Santa Rosa ended in San Francisco Sunday afternoon, June 7.

The chase began just after 12:23 p.m. in the 2000 block of Wild Bill Circle after Santa Rosa Police Department officers located a vehicle that was reported stolen.

Officers chased the vehicle southbound on Highway 101 but discontinued the pursuit after the driver displayed erratic behavior, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department. The vehicle was then monitored by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office via helicopter.

San Francisco Police Department Officers arrested the driver just before 2:12 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The details of the arrest are not yet available.
