The City of South Pasadena invites residents to attend What to Do About Mom & Dad, a free community workshop at the South Pasadena Senior Center.
What to Do About Mom & Dad will offer information and guidance to help families navigate the challenges of elder care and ensure the well-being of their parents. Attendees will learn about essential topics such as Alzheimer’s awareness, elder law, home modifications for older adults, and how to start “the conversation” with parents about care and support. Experts will also discuss the “Five M’s” of aging—mentation, mobility, medication, multi-morbidity, and what matters most.
This workshop is designed for anyone seeking clarity and confidence in caring for an aging family member. The event begins at 6:00 p.m., and participants are encouraged to arrive early to connect with community resource representatives.
