OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A 21-year-old man died in a crash in northern Oakland County Wednesday morning.

The crash happened at 6 a.m. on Oct. 8 on Grange Hall Road at Tripp Road in Groveland Township.

According to Michigan State Police, a 21-year-old man from Davisburg was driving his car north on Grange Hall Road and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Tripp Road.

State police said another driver was traveling eastbound on Tripp Road and struck the 21-year-old’s driver’s side door.

When Michigan State Police arrived at the scene, they attempted first aid on the 21-year-old, but he died at the scene.

The other driver was taken to a local hospital with a possible broken ankle, police said.
