(FOX40.COM) — A man was shot in Downtown Sacramento on Sunday morning, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Just after 1 a.m., officers responded to the area of Kayak Alley and 8th Street for reports of a shooting. At the scene, a man was located with at least one gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
